Engineer with measurement experience for consultancy on hydrogen in the gas system

Join us in our efforts to make hydrogen and other green gases play an important role in the green transition of the energy system.

At Danish Gas Technology Centre (DGC), we are working on integrating green gases such as hydrogen and biogas into the energy system of the future. We find solutions to many exciting projects within the climate, energy and environmental fields alongside the green transformation of the Danish energy system. We are engaged in developing our hydrogen business, which also implies building a hydrogen test centre and new consultancy tasks in the hydrogen field. This is why we are looking for a new - and preferably experienced - colleague to be part of these consultancy and development assignments.

You will play an important role in

managing and implementing projects ranging from long-term development projects to ad-hoc customer advice. Some of the tasks are listed below:

  • Technical analyses related to the integration of hydrogen and biogas into the energy system
  • Technology assessments and feasibility analyses
  • Energy technology analyses and investigations
  • Development work in the field of energy and project development 
  • Data processing, mostly using excel
  • Project management
  • Project administration

To succeed in the role, you

must hold an M.Sc. in engineering or equivalent and have experience in project management. You will have strong skills in these areas: thermodynamics, energy technology, measurement techniques, hydrogen technology, gas chromatography, data processing and statistics. It would be an advantage if you have worked with tests and other experimental work, as well as with data analysis. Your communication skills in either Danish or English both in writing and in speech are excellent. Communication skills in French are an advantage. In addition, you must be interested in developing new projects in dialogue with our customers.

DGC also has an office in Aalborg.
