The Danish EPA has proposed that NOx emissions from gas engine plants are reduced in order to fulfil part of the Danish obligations in the NEC directive [1]. Today, engines are adjusted to meet the demands given by regulations and to obtain a high efficiency.
However, NOx reducing engine adjustments affect other properties such as CO and UHC emissions as well as electrical and heat efficiency.
