Mini and micro cogeneration

Cogeneration, or Combined Heat and Power (CHP) production, is an important tool for achieving significant fuel and CO2 savings. Compared to fossil fuel based production of power and heat separately, the cogeneration fuel savings and corresponding CO2 savings will often be in the order of magnitude of some 30 %. The CO2 savings are sometimes higher as a fuel switch from coal or oil to natural gas may be included.
